Official High School Transcript COMPLETED APPLICATION! Follow up with each college to confirm your application is complete for review Application Bio, Activities, Essays, Fee, (components vary by college) SAT/ACT CollegeBoard.com ACTStudent.org test score optional? Recommendations (requirements vary by college) The College Admissions Folder Supplemental Materials portfolio, audition, etc. The College Admissions Folder

Application Processes Early Decision Binding Often November 1 or 15 deadline Some offer ED I & II Usually notified of decision within 6 weeks (Accept, Deny, Defer) ED Agreement often required - communicate with counselor Early Action NOT Binding Often November 1 or 15 deadline Usually can apply to more than 1 Usually notified within 6 weeks (Accept, Deny, Defer) Rolling When application is complete, it is reviewed and you are notified of a decision (Accept, Deny, On-Hold) Regular Decision Typically - January 1 or later deadline, with notification in mid-March to early April. (Accept, Deny, Waitlist)

UPPER DUBLIN TRANSCRIPT REQUEST PROCESS ●Step 1 - Student and parent signature required on Transcript Request Form. Form is available on guidance website. ●Step 2 - Log into Naviance to upload each individual college, scholarship or other transcript request. ●Step 3 - View status

College App Deadline Transcript Request Must be Submitted in Naviance by: October 15September 24 November 1October 12 November 15October 26 December 1November 6 January 1December 1 UDHS Transcript Request Deadlines Regardless of the college deadline, all transcript requests must be submitted in Naviance a minimum of 15 SCHOOL DAYS prior.

Teacher Recommendations ●Please ask the teacher prior to adding into Naviance Account ●Communicate with the teacher about deadlines and additional colleges added into the transcript request feature ●Applicant should always confirm that the college/university has received all required documentation

College Representative Visits Representatives from over 100 colleges and universities come to UDHS in the fall to meet with our juniors and seniors. Approx. 1 class period during the school day. Sign-up through Naviance at least two days prior to the visit. Strongly recommend - great way to connect with the rep!

Transcript Timeline ●When you request a transcript, what is sent? 1.Student transcript 2.Counselor letter of recommendation 3.Uploaded teacher recommendation(s) 4.UDHS profile ●1st marking period report card 1.Student can print and mail/ report card to college admission representative 2.College/University may contact school directly for this documentation. Form is available in Guidance Office.

If Common App: ✓ Student should have already created account on listed at least 1 college in your Common App “My Colleges” list and completed the FERPA Waiver on Common App. ✓ In Naviance, go to Colleges tab > click “Colleges I’m Applying To”. Carefully read the instructions about linking your Naviance and Common App accounts. Matching Common App and Naviance Accounts

✓ You MUST complete this step in order for your transcripts and recommendations to be sent to Common App colleges!

If Other Electronic: ✓ no further action is required by the student. If Paper: ✓ Student provides Guidance with any required college forms and a 9”x12” envelope addressed to the college including three (3) first-class stamps. Non-Common App Colleges
