Writing Read 20 minutes Choose a writing prompt from the August writing calendar (homework binder) Math Work on your All About Me Poster Choose a math game from the “Number and Operations in Base Ten” sheet (homework binder) Math: Place Value We will work on 3-digit place value this week. We will learn standard form, base ten form, word form, and expanded form. Spelling Read for 20 minutes Watch the S.O.S video on the class blog under the “homework resources” tab and practice with the word “said” Writing: Writing Workshop Launch We will learn how Writing Workshop flows in our class. We will begin learning the steps of the narrative writing process. Reading Read 20 minutes Finish your All About Me Poster Science/SS/Health: Nutrition We will learn about healthy food choices from each of the five food groups.
