13 Recommendation Approve and authorize the following: Execution by the General Manager of the District's standard form of contract with the lowest responsive bidder, Hal Hays Construction Incorporated, in the amount of $1,599,191; Rejection of all other bids received under Specification No. 1268, except the second lowest bid from Hal Hays Construction Incorporated, which has been deemed to be the lowest responsive bid for the project; Execution by the General Manager of the District’s standard form of contract with HDR Inc., of Pasadena, California for engineering services during construction for the AC and OMC Public Access Areas Renovation Project in the amount not to exceed $132,000; Administrative Award and Execution by the General Manager of the District’s standard form of contracts with the necessary consultants and suppliers for engineering support during construction and implementation of AC and OMC Public Access Areas Renovation Project; and Additional appropriation of $2,521,792, which brings the total estimated project cost to $2,895,792.
