Communication Definition : Definition : The process of sending and receiving messages.

Channels Communication is transmitted through many different channels or means of sending a message. Communication is transmitted through many different channels or means of sending a message.

The 3 important Channels are: 1 Sound Waves: Verbal Messages 2 Light Waves:Nonverbal (IE: Stop Lights) 3 Sense of Touch:Nonverbal (IE: Handshakes/Hugs)

The Communication Model  Consists of 5 main parts 1. Sender-transmits message 2. Message 3. Receiver-person who intercepts the message and then decodes the message

4. Feedback-includes reactions that receiver gives to message offered 5. Interference-anything that gets in the way of clear communication
