Feedback: A return message Interference: Anything that gets in the way of communication getting through Channels: the means for sending communication

4 Types of Interference Physical Noise: sounds that prevent a person from being heard Psychological Noise: Psychological Noise: The thoughts and feelings that distract people from listening to what is said Semantic Noise: Semantic Noise: The interference caused by words that trigger strong negative feelings against the speaker or content of the speech
