Classroom Behavior Be on time! Come to class prepared with notebook, textbook, pen, pencil, calculator, etc. Treat yourself, your classmates, and your teacher with respect. Only one person speaks at a time. Raise your hand to speak, answer a question, or get out of your seat.

Consequences for inappropriate classroom behavior Receive a warning Receive an after/before school/lunch detention Receive an after/before school/lunch detention and a phone call home Administrative referral

Collected Assignments All assignments must be turned in on time. Late assignments will receive a lower grade. All papers must be completed neatly. All papers must be turned in free of fringe from spiral notebooks. Only pencil, blue or black ink may be used.

Grading Grading is done on a point system Homework is 2 points each Quizzes are approximately 50 points each Tests are 100 points each Projects range in point value depending upon the difficulty and depth of the project

Extra Credit Be careful what you ask for!

Notebooks You are required to maintain a notebook throughout the year. Due to the large number of handouts in this class, a binder is required. Your notebook may be assessed for a quiz grade at any time with or without warning.

Attendance If you are absent from class you will have 2 days to make up your missed work. If you miss class the day of the test but were present the day before the test, you will be required to take the test the day you return to class.

Attendance continued… If you miss class the day before a test, you will be required to take the test with the rest of the class unless new information is presented on the day before the test. Any work not made up in the allotted time will result in a zero. You are responsible for making arrangements to make up missing work. I WILL NOT CHASE YOU DOWN!

Homework Late homework will not be accepted
