G2 Grades:
chapter tests, unit tests, projects, presentations, lab reports, and other large assignments
G3 Grades:
A final exam will be given at the end of the 9-weeks.
Extra Credit:
Extra credit will not be given to individual students. If it is given, it will be available to everyone. Do not ask for individual extra credit!!!
Remember: Zoology is a ½ credit class. It will end at the end of the nine weeks. Each grade is important and makes an impact on your final grade.

Absentee Policy
Late / Incomplete Work
YES, WE DID SOMETHING IMPORTANT WHILE YOU WERE ABSENT.
It is the student’s responsibility to complete a “Request for Makeup Work” form and turn it in. You will be give your work (with due dates) as soon as possible.
It is the student’s responsibility to schedule makeup tests and quizzes.
My classroom policy is that students have 2 days to make up work.
Failure to stay for makeup work will result in a zero for the assignment grade.
Scheduled tests and other assignments are due on the day the student returns.
My expectation is that ALL assignments be completed to the best of your ability and turned in on time.
I reserve the right to not accept late work.
Printer and internet issues are not an excuse for late work.
Late work will receive a maximum of a 50%.
Assignments that are not turned in when called for are considered late!
Technology
ALL electronic devices should be put away and remain put away. If they are out or in use, the device will be confiscated and turned into the office. If students are caught using an electronic device during a quiz or test, the device will be immediately confiscated and the assignment will be given a zero for cheating.
Remember: Cell phones are not allowed at CCHS this year.
CHEATING
Other Info
Cheating is NOT TOLERATED! Cheating will result in all students involved receiving zeros for the assignment. Cheating includes (but is not limited to) using your cell phone to look up answers, copying another student’s paper, using cheat sheets or notes on tests and quizzes, and talking during inappropriate times. No questions will be asked if a student is suspected of cheating and appropriate consequences will be issued. Plagiarism is cheating!!! JUST DON’T DO IT!
I will be available for afterschool tutoring at the request of a student. I need advance notice and can only stay until 3:50.
Please be sure you have access to Active Student and your parents have access to Active Parent to monitor your grades.
I have read and understand the policies for Mrs. Williford’s classroom. I will adhere to these in order to be successful in her class.
