1. Whisk A whisk is a cooking utensil which can be used to blend ingredients smooth or to incorporate air into a mixture, in a process known as whisking or whipping. Most whisks consist of a long, narrow handle with a series of wire loops joined at the end.

2. Wooden Spoon A multipurpose tool used in cooking that is used to combine ingredients.

3. Peeler a device for removing the skin from fruit and vegetables.

4. Strainer used to drain out liquids from solids. Usually for small items such as rice, or quinoa. Also can be used for sifting flour or powdered sugar.

5. Spatula an implement with a broad, flat, blunt blade, used for mixing and spreading things. Commonly used for frosting cakes.

6. Turner Cooking utensil having a flat flexible part and a long handle; used for turning or serving food.

7. Saucepan a deep cooking pan used for soups or sauces.

8. Rolling Pin Used to flatten or shape dough.

9. Rubber Scraper Rubber scrapers allow you to gather every bit of dough from a board or batter from a bowl, helping make sure none of the goodness goes to waste.

10. Cutting Board  A cutting board is a wooden or plastic board that you chop meat and vegetables on.

11. Muffin Tin a mold in which muffins or cupcakes are baked.

12. Measuring Spoons  used to measure an amount of an ingredient, either liquid or dry, when cooking. Measuring spoons may be made of plastic, metal, and other materials. They are available in many sizes, including the teaspoon and tablespoon.

13. Liquid Measuring Cup  used specifically for measuring liquids. Liquid is poured into the cup up to the appropriate graduated marker on the side of the cup. Clear glass or plastic measuring cups are easiest to use. When measuring liquids, fill the measuring cup with your liquid and hold the cup at eye level to check the amount. Make sure you hold the cup "level"

14. Hand Mixer A mixer is a kitchen device that uses a gear-driven mechanism to rotate a set of "beaters" in a bowl containing the food or liquids to be prepared by mixing them. Mixers help automate the repetitive tasks of stirring, whisking or beating

15. Grater A grater is a kitchen utensil used to grate foods into fine pieces. It was invented by François Boullier in the 1540s, originally to grate cheese.

16. Funnel a pipe with a wide mouth and a narrow stem. It is used to channel  liquids into containers with a small opening. Without a funnel, spillage may occur.

17. Frying Pan A frying pan, frypan, or skillet is a flat-bottomed pan used for frying, searing, and browning foods. It is typically 200 to 300 mm in diameter with relatively low sides that flare outwards, a long handle, and no lid

18. Measuring Cups Cups that are used to hold specific amounts of dry ingredients. Usually come in 1 cup ½ cup 1/3 cup ¼ cup

19. Chef’s Knife In cooking, a chef’s knife, also known as a cook’s knife, is a cutting tool used in food preparation. The chef’s knife was originally designed primary to slice and disjoint large cuts of beef. Today it is the primary general-utility knife for most western cooks.

20. Colander A colander is typically a larger bowl-shaped strainer, often with bigger holes used to strain off liquid. We think of colorful plastic or metal strainers that sit on their own base rather than need to be held by a handle.
