Do now: Take out any missing work. What are some things that you notice? What are some things that you wonder?

I will be able to: use the statistical data we collected So that I can: analyze, summarize, and display the data I will show that I understood it by analyzing the numerical data with my group to complete my numerical summary sheet and to create the 3 graphical displays with 100% accuracy. 6.SP. A.4 6.SP. A.5

Language Objective By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use the language domains of listening, speaking, reading and writing. They will be able to listen to and orally discuss with their partners how to analyze and summarize their data. They will show that they understood it by using the data they collected to summarize the results and describe the measures of center with their group with 100% accuracy. Academic Math Language Vocabulary: data, statistical data collection tool, analyze, summarize, graphical model, dot plot, box and whiskers, histogram, bar graph, measures of center, mean, median, mode, range, mean absolute deviation, interquartile range.

Collecting the Data Organizing our data includes: the numerical summaries as well as the graphic summaries. (you will start with finding the mean, median, mode, range, IQR, etc.)

Translating the Data Now you will graph it. Graphing our data includes: histogram, dot plot and/or box and whisker plot.

Please ensure that your numerical summary sheet is completed. Afterwards, please make sure that you have a dot plot, a box and whisker, and a histogram completed on your graph papers. Create your poster. You will be presenting tomorrow.

How do you feel? topic.

I can use my examples to help! Homework: Packet due by Wednesday Please make sure at least 5 problems per page are done
