4 Language Objective By the end of the lesson, students will be able to communicate the academic math language of statistics. They will be able to use the statistical data they collected to analyze, summarize, and display their data. They will show their understanding by giving their presentation with at least 80% accuracy. 5 Developing a Statistical Project (as a review)
Over the past few days, you have been working in a small group to apply the skills you have learned from statistics to create and implement your own statistical project. Your group will: Create a statistical question. Determine a data collection tool. Gather the data using the collection tool from at least 50 students. Organize the data you have collected and graph the data in at least 2 different ways. Utilize the graphs to answer your statistical question. Create a visual (poster) that includes your statistical question, graphs, measures of center and variability (mean, median, mode, MAD, range) Prepare a presentation
