Before Class Enter quietly Sharpen your pencil Complete Bell Ringer Prepare to submit homework assignments Students will be given a one day grace period If your homework is not submitted at all then you will immediately receive a citation to be signed by the parent/guardian and student. After this citation is sent home you will be allowed once again to submit the assignment, however 10 percent of the grade will be deducted. Please enter on time The door is locked after the tardy bell sounds Students are warned the first time and the behavior is documented Students are then issued a citation and the behavior is documented The citation will be signed by the parent and student Parents are contacted via phone Upon the 4th tardy you will be written up

During Class Do not talk during classroom discussion unless you are recognized by raising your hand. PLEASE listen to/read instructions carefully. If you need to leave your seat for any reason raise your hand rule Office Visits Students are not permitted to report to the office unless they are summoned Please have your own material during class- books, pencil, and paper Keep all body parts to yourself If you can not say anything nice about anyone in here don’t say anything at all. No vulgar language

School Wide Grading Scale = A = B = C = D 59 and below =F Proficiency Levels Minimal= 0-36 Basic= Proficient= Advanced=

Late Work Late work will be accepted, but there will be a 10% deduction in the grade for each day it is late. If a student is absent he or she has the same number of days that he or she was absent to make up any work. It is the student’s responsibility to request any missing work from the teacher

Materials Each student is required to bring a spiral notebook for bell ringers, journal writing and lab activities. In addition to this, the school will be assigning a textbook to each child. The student will be required to bring their textbook daily. Students should also bring general materials such as: paper, pencil, pen and highlighters. If there are any other materials needed the teacher will inform you.

Dismissal Remember the bell doesn’t dismiss you You are not a cow or pig summoned by a bell Please ensure that your area is clean When leaving class please ensure that you are quietly remaining on the right side of the hallway.

Cafeteria Line up quietly No talking within the hallways If you talk in the hallways you will not be permitted to talk in the cafeteria. Keep all conversations at your table Do not reach over trays Please do not reach into anyone’s tray Do not leave the table without permission PLEASE leave your area clean

Consequences Warning Conference with teacher Parent Contact Citation issued (must be signed by the student and parent) Parent teacher conference (via phone) Parent will be asked to conference face-to-face Office contact will be made ( all documentation of your behavior and contact with your parent will be given to the office for further action).
