11 Classroom rules Be Prompt (in seat when bell rings)
Be Positive (good attitudes only) Be Prepared (have materials) Be Productive (do your work) Be Polite (respect others)

12 Have Respect

13 Consequences Warning Contact parent Referral to administration

14 Procedure for entering the class
Leave loud voices in the hallway Go to your assigned seat immediately Begin the warm up activity When the tardy bell rings I should not have anyone out of their seat and everyone should have their notebook out

15 Procedure for asking a question or answering a question
RAISE YOUR HAND and wait to be acknowledged. I would love to answer your question or hear what you have to say however I can’t hear all students at once. Ask yourself “is my question relevant”

16 Procedure for the restroom
You should use the restroom during this designated time. Please do not stop by lesson (lecture) to ask to go to the restroom. THIS CLASS IS IMPORTANT, YOU DON’T NEED TO MISS ANYTHING

17 Procedure for throwing away trash
Please do not stop my lesson to ask to throw away trash, this can be taken care of as you are leaving the room (in other words throw it away on your way out the door).

18 Procedure for leaving I dismiss you, not the bell
Wait in your seat until you are dismissed We will not be lining up at the door waiting, remain seated Your area must be neat and clean before you are dismissed Books underneath your desk Area clear of paper

19 Procedure for traveling
School wide Policy Walk in a single file line (one behind the other) Keep up with the person in front of you (no gaps in the line) NO TALKING – Not even whispering, 30 students whispering gets loud

20 I need your attention please

21 Procedures for working in groups
I will assign group members Once group assignments have been made, I will changed them based on my judgment not on your complaints You must learn to work together at least for the time it takes to get the assignment completed All members will have a role and thus will participate

22 Procedures for working in groups continued
You must stay in the designated area for your group All conversations should be about the assignment you are working on
