Our Children…. Our School…. Our Success

Absences Third grade moves very quickly in content and the content is deep. Second grade builds on first but third grade is new content. If your child is absent they are missing this content. We understand that sometimes this cannot be helped but we ask that you limit absences as much as possible. If you need to schedule doctor appointment and it is best that you schedule it early in the morning and then bring them to school once they are through. We appreciate your cooperation with this.

Snacks/Drinks t Snacks are fine but must be healthy and must not contain sugar or be sticky or wet Water bottles may be brought to school but they must have a screw-on top and must be water only

Nurse’s Slips  When a child comes to us and says that they are sick we will evaluate their need and either suggest things that might help or we will fill out a nurse’s slip and send them down for the nurse to evaluate them.  The slip is sent home with the child for your reference. If they seem to be going to the nurse excessively we ask that you have a talk with them about their need. Understand that when the child is in the nurse’s office they are missing valuable instruction time. We appreciate your help with this.
