ALVIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE Dual Credit Program Alvin ISD Get a jump on your college education!

Alvin Community College and Alvin Independent School District have teamed up to give Alvin HS students the opportunity to graduate from high school with college credits and for some students, possibly a two year college degree.

on the Alvin High School campus. During 2011-2012 school year, over 325 AHS students participated in dual credit classes offered on the Alvin High School campus. According to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, 91,000 Texas high school students are earning college credits through dual credit programs.
