6 SUMMER SCHOOL RECOVERY ENRICHMENT
If you fail a required course, you must take it again and pass it in order to graduate. Summer school is the best option to recover these credits. If you choose not to recover the credit in summer school, you will be enrolled in the course again the following school year. ENRICHMENT The district offers several summer enrichment courses. Some summer courses are also offered online, such as Health and Personal Finance.

7 ADDING AND DROPPING CLASSES
Schedule changes are only made in limited circumstances Classes may only be changed within the first 10 days of each semester Classes dropped beyond the 10 day limit will result in an F in the class Honors/AP classes may only be dropped if you earn below a C at semester

12 CORE CLASSES Placements The district will pre- load core classes.
Placements are based on 7th grade EOC scores, reading assessments, and semester grades. Waivers A parent-signed waiver is required to change a pre- loaded core placement. Waivers should be turned into your middle school counselor by February 15.

15 SPECIAL PROGRAMS Lewis & Clark Tech School
Offering 1 and 2-year technical programs to students in 11th and 12th grade Attend FHN ½ day and Lewis & Clark ½ day Application process with limited spots Dual Enrollment Enroll in one or two college courses while in 12th grade Earn college credit while still in high school Option to leave school early Work Study Programs Earn high school credit for part-time employment Business, Marketing, and Culinary programs Option to leave school early

16 A+ Program Earn 100% tuition at any public community college or technical college in Missouri! Cumulative, unweighted GPA = 2.5 + 95% attendance Good citizenship Algebra 1 EOC or Math ACT 50 hours peer tutoring/mentoring
