Graduation Requirements – Class of Total Credits 4 credits in English (English I, II, III and a credit in the senior year) 4 credits in Social Studies (World Cultures, U.S. History I, U.S. History II, and senior Economics unless a senior AP class is selected)

Course Selection Waiver A WAIVER is required when a student or parent chooses a course/level for which the student is not recommended. Cannot override a prerequisite or a required sequence of courses. Must be signed by both parent and student. Must be on file in the high school guidance office by the scheduling deadline for the course to be scheduled. It is recommended that a student, parent, and teacher discuss the initial recommendation and give careful consideration prior to submitting a WAIVER.

General Sequence of MATH Courses

Keystone Exams will cover the following core academic subjects: Algebra I, Algebra II, Biology, Chemistry, Civics and Government, English Composition, Geometry, Literature, US History, World History Classes of 2015 and 2016 will be required to demonstrate proficiency on the highlighted exams. Classes of 2017 and beyond will be required to demonstrate proficiency on 2/3 Math; 1/2 Science; 1/3 Social Studies; 2 English (All Keystone Exam requirements are pending state budget approval.)
