14 ELECTIVES Start on page 36 Check Prerequisites Courses Grades You will be choosing 2 credits this year. Be sure to check credit value of class – total should be 2. There are many possible combinations. ( 4x.5 =2; 1x2=2, 1+.5+.5=2, etc…).

15 Let’s talk about applications (google form) Address on back of sheet One form for all courses Complete all info!!! Must be submitted by Feb. 20 th at 3:00 Yearbook and FBLA require an application. Link on CS sheet is not currently working. Go to WASHS page, link is at the bottom.

16 You will need to take Art Fundamentals before Drawing and Painting, Studio Arts, or Sculpture. Art Appreciation is also available – no prerequisite. Yearbook – requires application. ART You must have a 75% to move on to the next Art class!

21 World Languages Not a graduation requirement however….. Most colleges recommend 2 or 3 years in HS Many colleges require World Language on the college level (and it’s harder!) There have been changes to available Languages and levels so be sure to check the Course Guide

Course Selection Night Thursday 2/12 … 5:30 – 7:30 pm  Teachers and counselors are on hand to answer your questions!  February 11 - 20 You will get teacher signatures  February 23/24 - Course Selection sheet due to your 3 rd period teacher!  You will enter your selections in the Portal in early March – I will be here to help!
