through reduced inequality Key Messages Achievement Image every young person is provided a sporting chance to succeed in life through reduced inequality every child receives the best sporting start in life through a right to physical literacy Image Wellbeing Leadership 20th anniversary – rebrand and refocus our key messages 1 Wellbeing - Our work builds the foundations of movement within children, equipping them with the confidence, competence and enjoyment of sport needed for a lifetime of activity, and good physical and emotional health. 2 Leadership - Our work supports the personal development of young people and their progress at school, as well as preparing them for the challenges of life ahead. 3 Achievement - We support young people to develop a range of positive character qualities: creativity, aspiration, resilience and empathy. PE and sport delivered well is proven to impact positively on attainment and academic achievement. It can engage young people in learning and support the development of skills needed for success in the classroom – communication, teamwork and self management

Our Ambitions Through the power of sport we aim to ensure: Image every young person will achieve their sporting best in life by developing creativity, aspirations, resilience and empathy every young person is provided a sporting chance to succeed in life through reduced inequality every child receives the best sporting start in life through a right to physical literacy Image Our ambitions remain unchanged - We work to: give every child a sporting start in life through high quality PE and sport in primary schools; ensure all young people have a sporting chance by developing opportunities for those with special educational needs and disabilities; and support all young people to achieve their sporting best in school and their personal best in life.
