6 Our Multi – Academy Trust Stucture
Our MAT Structure

7 The Star Multi-Academy Trust Key Objectives
The overarching mission of the trust is that every pupil is taught to an outstanding level of achievement in order to give them a secure basis for a successful future academic career. This will be quantified within each academy with high minimum expectations for the quality of teaching and learning and a focus on securing the best pupils outcomes

8 The Star Multi-Academy Trust Ethos and Values
One Guiding Aim We work to fulfil the trust mission and are focused on delivering a world class education.  High aspirations We aim to ensure every pupil is challenged and inspired by their learning and supported to overcome any potential barriers to academic success. We encourage our staff to be ambitious and support them towards their professional goals. Being unique We identify and nurture the unique attributes of each school, staff member and pupil and promote equality and diversity. A chance to shine We celebrate the gifts, talents and achievements of every child by hosting and organising a wide range of high quality sporting, academic and cultural events for pupils to participate in. The best professional practice is celebrated and shared with others. Navigating confidently We deliver a curriculum that builds character and independence, creating a school ethos around the importance of teamwork and leadership and improving the employability of our pupils. All staff receive good quality, clearly delivered and appropriate professional development

9 What it does it means for my child at Kents Hill Junior School?
KHJS will continue to be challenged and supported to ensure your child receives outstanding teaching and achieves excellent outcomes. Continued accountability to parents, Ofsted and DfE. The school ethos, values, curriculum and staff are secured for the foreseeable future - no significant changes to uniform, school name or organisation. Your child’s education will be more resilient to budget freezes and system changes – the amount of resources allocated to learning at this school will be protected. Best staff promoted within. Teachers retained by KHJS and will not moved to other schools. Your child will be part of a new family of diverse schools with associated cultural, sporting and community events. A new Head of Academy – Miss Nash
