Green= Academic Blue= Enrichment/Engagement Yellow: Well being Pupil Premium Provision Mapping The pupil Premium is additional money given to schools to support pupils who are considered disadvantaged. After School Library Sessions Overview: money available to pay a TA to open the library for families after school Aims: To improve children’s enjoyment and motivation to read. Extra Curricular Activities Overview: money available to pay or subsidies a place at a music, sport or drama afterschool activity. Aims: To promote equal access to a range of opportunities for all children. Promoting the Whole Child Midday Reading Sessions Overview: additional 1:1 reading and nurturing support for children at lunchtime Aims: To improve children’s enjoyment and motivation to read. Music Lessons Overview: money available to pay for music tuition, instrument hire or places at a music club Aims: To promote equal access to a range of opportunities for all children. To improve self-esteem Subsidised Trips Overview: school trips and residential subsidised to ensure access for all pupils . Aims: To promote equal access to a range of opportunities for all children. To improve motivation and engagement in school. Curriculum Enrichment Overview: additional resources for enrichment weeks (e.g. arts week) and visitors in school (film project) Aims: To improve children’s enjoyment and motivation in school.

Home Subscriptions Overview: to provide access to learning subscriptions (Mathletics, Active Learn) at home Aims: To improve attainment in Maths and GPS of pupil premium children. Lesson Study Overview: We recognise that pupil premium children are disproportionately affected by week teaching. Therefore this scheme is to improve the quality of teaching Aims: to improve the quality of teaching Promoting the Whole Child Coffee Mornings Overview: to support parents supporting their child academically Aims:. To improve attainment in Maths and English as a result of parental support Beanstalk Reader Overview: Reading volunteer programme, supporting children applying their reading skills and encouraging motivation and enjoyment of reading Aims: to improve children’s reading and enjoyment of reading. Aims: to improve children’s attainment in the Early Years Phonics Support Overview: additional leadership time and Early Excellence CPD. Home Visits Overview: Additional home visits for FSM children joining mid year. Place to Be Overview: Counselling service for children in school to be referred to and self refer. Aims: to improve children’s wellbeing and mental health.
