The Dunham Trust We believe that our Trust can make a significant contribution in transforming children's life chances. Our aim and commitment is to transform schools into sustainable learning academy communities. We believe that we are able to help our academies and their young people to aspire to and achieve success. The Teaching School element of the Trust is proven in providing high quality school improvement thus a foundation block of the Trust is that academies will share our values and principles and use them to guide their development.

The Dunham Trust We aim to ensure that, for everyone involved, excellence and equity become and remain a reality. To do this, we are committed to ensuring that every child and young person has a personalised pathway to succeed that: gives them the best possible start in life equips them with creativity, spirit and confidence in themselves enables them to appreciate life and equip them for further learning supports them in becoming responsible citizens ensures they are a continued success in their future lives and in their contribution to their community in which they live.

The Dunham Trust In transferring to a different employer, staff will notice little difference. We will be totally committed to the welfare and development of all staff. Therefore, there will be a high priority on the management of performance and the professional development for all staff.

The Dunham Trust Our aims for ‘Improvement’ are designed to ensure all academies are consistently benchmarked against key improvement priorities. This framework will ensure effective progress across the group, whilst, at the same time, leaving space for autonomy at the school level. It will: focus efforts on what really matters, i.e. our vision, principles and commitment to the children, young people, families and communities that we serve. provide a flexible approach to improvement that meets the needs of each Academy. This will involve a commitment to immediate improvement in each individual context, professional development and a collaborative approach that engages with improvement projects designed to build capacity, an approach that is responsive, reflective and sustainable. focus on outcomes, understanding that these are not negotiable. We are committed to a no-excuses culture. In achieving these outcomes, all will focus on individual responsibility and collective accountability for success.

The Dunham Trust The Dunham Trust has been developed to enable schools, wishing to be part of a family of schools, to move forward together in partnership, ensuring the highest standards for their children and young people . The Trust is committed to working in partnership with schools in creating a sustainable family of academies. The Trust believes that the support and challenge that it is able to provide to governors, principals, leadership teams and staff will ensure continuous improvement across all aspects of school-life: governance leadership teaching and learning curriculum aspiration We are committed in achieving the highest possible standards in all aspects of each academy and will be totally committed and dedicated towards this end.

The Dunham Trust There is a commitment that support services will be provided through The Teaching School at Elmridge. The Trust recognises that some additional services may be purchased from LAs or other providers as valued by individual schools. The Trust will provide direct support and services to governors, principals and leadership teams in strategic financial planning and management, budget setting, purchasing and budget monitoring. This will include: setting budgets and updating it as priorities change budget monitoring and reporting to Principals and governors purchasing and service procurement audit and FMSiS payroll management and monitoring

The Dunham Trust The Trust has a responsibility to ensure the success of each academy by allowing every pupil to maximise his/her potential. As an academy sponsor there will be an expectation to joint work across the individual academies. The Trust is committed to high quality academy improvement activity, networking and development and research. Equally, the promotion of sport, outdoor education and the creative arts will be important in the development of pupil self esteem and building learning skills. In order to develop this we would expect schools’ funding to be pooled to achieve overarching strategic opportunities and the promotion of jointly funded activities as an essential ingredient for our pupils’ experience.
