Given your knowledge of Composting, create a testable question and hypothesis with your group using Blackboard. Sign into Blackboard and select Mrs. Williams Blackboard. Click on the tab Groups and select your group’s link. Click the assignment titled “Compost Project- Writing a testable question and hypothesis. As a group, decide on a testable question and hypothesis based on the Compost Project you have been given. To utilize this feature, the teacher would have needed to complete Blackboard 201. 5 R Exploring Science as Inquiry through Discovery Learning- Compost Project (Writing a Testable Question and Hypothesis) REDEFINITION Technology allows for the creation of new tasks that were previously not conceivable. Given your knowledge of Composting, create a lesson on how to come up with a hypothesis. On your iPAD open the Vidra App. Click the + sign to create a new Vidra. Choose a theme. Name your story. Using only 5 slides, create a story as to what your experiment is, what information you knew prior to this, and based on this information what questions you have. Also input your group’s hypothesis that was created through Blackboard. All of these elements must be included. When you are finished you will click the red upload icon in the upper right hand corner. Select Video. Select Photos. Click “Okay” to Watermark. Your video should then start exporting. When it is done exporting go back to “Stories.” Click and hold on your Vidra then click the trashcan to delete. When you are done, upload your video to Blackboard in your group. Add your video to the Discussion Board post titled Inquiry Video. Review other videos. Comment on the video that you think would be the best to introduce your hypothesis to the class. This activity should be done in 1 class period. Prior to this activity the Modification lesson should be completed.
