1.ABSTRACT: Due to the in secure environment the ratio of vehicle theft increases rapidly. Because of this is manufacturers of luxury automobiles has the responsibilities for taking steps to ensure the authorization for the owners and also in built the anti theft system to prevent the vehicle from theft. The proposed security system for smart cars used to prevent them from loss or theft using Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) processor. According to the comparison result (authentic or not), ARM processor triggers certain actions. If the result is not authentic means ARM produces the signal to block the car access (i.e. Produce the interrupt signal to car engine to stop its action) and inform the car owner about the unauthorized access via Multimedia Message Services (MMS) with the help of GSM/modem.

2.OBJECTIVES: 1.The objective of the project is to build an additional feature to the present security system that will warn the owner of the vehicle by sending SMS when there has been an intrusion into the vehicle. 2.To provide a solution to avoid car stolen in the lower cost than advance security car system. (GPS).

4. METHODOLOGY: Vehicle security system alone is not sufficient to prevent auto theft. Even though the vehicle is equipped with one of the most expensive system, there are certain circumstances when such systems are useless, when the vehicle is parked in the basement of the office building where alarm cannot be heard. Sometimes, the alarm siren does not even attract the attention of most of the pubic because of the mentality of people nowadays that intend to ignore such alarms. With the installation of SMS feature of this alarm, the vehicle owner can be notified immediately so that he or she can take preventive measure to check their vehicle or save precious time if the vehicle is stolen by informing the police department as soon as possible. In most cases, the owner realized when the vehicle is stolen hours after the theft.

5. ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES:  ADVANTAGES: 1.Vehicle control. 2.Vehicle on-off state detection. 3.Vehicle safety

 DISADVANTAGES: GSM Network will not get in all the locations.

6.APPLICATIONS: 1.Advocacy. 2.Use as surveillance device. 3.Automotive

7.CONCLUSION: This is a unique method of designing and assembling a low-cost, compact theft control system for an automobile. This instrument is an ultimate threat to vehicle thieves. By installing this instrument in the automobile engine it is very difficult to access by an unknown person, since it is based on GSM Technology. In future, there is no doubt, that all of the vehicles will be embedded with this unique kit. In addition to the above features we can also add extra features like thumb/face recognition to ascertain more security of the vehicle.
