 CONTENTS 1.Abstract 2.Objectives 3.Block diagram 4.Methodology 5.Advantages & disadvantages 6.Applications 7. Conclusion

1.ABSTRACT: An embedded system is a special-purpose computer system designed to perform a dedicated function. Since the system is dedicated to specific tasks, design engineers can optimize it, reducing the size and cost of the product. Embedded system comprises of both hardware and software. Embedded technology uses PC or a controller to do the specified task and the programming is done using assembly language programming or embedded C. A robot is an apparently human automation, intelligent and obedient but impersonal machine. This project presents the construction of an autonomous spy robot which has a wireless CCTV on it. The robot is capable to maneuver and scout a given particular area safely by avoiding obstructions across its path and streaming the wires video data onto a TV screen.

2.OBJECTIVES: The server lively sends the signals to the robot of its loading section and unloading section using a wireless XBee module. A wireless CCTV camera is used to get the surveying location to the server sitting in the control room. If any obstructions are presented on the travelling path of the robot the PIR sensor detects the obstacles and sends the signal to the server. And after clearing the obstacle it continuous it’s defined work which has been stopped..

3.BLOCK DIAGRAM :  TRANSMITTER STAGE :

 RECEIVER STAGE:

4. METHODOLOGY: A block diagram which is shown above is divided into two parts that is transmitter and receiver. The transmitter part is which is in the control room which can be controlled from the remote area using XBee as a communication protocol. The person at the transmitting end controls the robot of the remote areas using key inputs along with that he can view any miss-handlings in the industries like damages in pipes gas leakage and etc.. using camera.

5. ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES:  ADVANTAGES: 1.Quality: Industrial automated robots have the capacity to dramatically improve product quality. Applications are performed with precision and high repeatability every time. This level of consistency can be hard to achieve any other way. 2.Production: With robots, throughput speeds increase, which directly impacts production. Because an automated robot has the ability to work at a constant speed without pausing for breaks, sleep, vacations, it has the potential to produce more than a human worker.

3. Safety: Robots increase workplace safety. Workers are moved to supervisory roles where they no longer have to perform dangerous applications in hazardous settings. 4. Savings: Improved worker safety leads to financial savings. There are fewer healthcare and insurance concerns for employers. Automated robots also offer untiring performance which saves valuable time. Their movements are always exact, minimizing material waste.

 DISADVANTAGES: 1.Expertise: Employees will require training program and interact with the new robotic equipment. This normally takes time and financial output. 2.Safety: Robots may protect workers from some hazards, but in the meantime, their very presence can create other safety problems. These new dangers must be taken into consideration.

6.APPLICATIONS: 1.Aerospace. 2.Agriculture. 3.Construction. 4.Health. 5.Nuclear. 6.Textile. 7.Lab automation. 8.Underwater surveying. 9.Surveillance and guard duty.

7.CONCLUSION: The proto-type industrial robot pick and place system utilizes the wireless technology with two modes as a remote control over the system using Bluetooth technology and the same with audio, sensor technology and a wireless camera is installed in such a way that it helps to keep the surveillance of the industry.also this system will be used in the field of military application such as for surveillance purpose, to pull out causalities, for security purpose etc.
