3 1.ABSTRACT: In this system, we present an empirical study of human movement detection and identification using a set of PIR sensors. We have developed a data collection module having two pairs of PIR sensors orthogonally aligned and modified Fresnel lenses. We have placed three PIR-based modules in a hallway for monitoring people; one module on the ceiling; two modules on opposite walls facing each other. We have collected a data set from eight subjects when walking in three different conditions: two directions (back and forth), three distance intervals (close to one wall sensor, in the middle, close to the other wall sensor) and three speed levels (slow, moderate, fast). We have used two types of feature sets: a raw data set and a reduced feature set composed of amplitude and time to peaks; and passage duration extracted from each PIR sensor.

4 2.OBJECTIVES: The prime objective is to select the introduces various indoor localization and tracking and motion detecting systems for Shopping mall security system and power management system using PIR And MSP430.

METHODOLOGY: When somebody moves the PIR sensor , there is a change in temperature which is collected by the PIR sensor then given to the to buffer IC 4050 ,buffer stores and given to the driver IC in driver current will amplifies and voltage will inverts with the help of Darlington circuit of driver IC to drive the relay . Then signal is given to the output load to turn ON the Lights.

7 When person comes & enters the password ,that key inputs are given to MSP430 controller. The controller checks the password and if password is correct then controller generates the output given to the driver IC in driver current will amplifies and voltage will inverts with the help of Darlington circuit of driver IC to drive the relay . Then signal is given to the output load to open the door.

8 5. ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES:
Unnecessary wastage of electricity can be controlled to a greater extend. Maximum power can be saved. Electrical safety is designed to prevent device damage & electrical shocks. Selectable Sensitivity, Sensitivity can be adjusted to match installation requirements.

9 DISADVANTAGES: In this project usage of relays leads to consume more power. .

Smart energy system. Security.

11 7.CONCLUSION: We have presented a human movement detecting system based on PIR sensors and machine learning technologies for classifying the direction of movement, the distance of the body from the PIR sensors, for power saving in shopping malls.
