Baby Milestones are thrilling for parents, not only do they indicate that the baby is developing and growing, but also lend a cute aspect of having a baby. The first smile, to the first ahh, the way he looks at you and melts your heart away! In pictures, some baby milestones, know about them, and know when babies may reach them. Just some small things that you can expect from babies. Take a tour of baby milestones from 1-6 months. *Every baby develops at his own pace and differently. These milestones are just expectations and babies may reach them at different times.

Baby Milestones – Month 1 A 1 month old baby normally lifts his head up, has his hearing fully developed and can stare at faces. He may also recognise black and white patterns and overwhelm you with a little ahh or ooh (his first sound other than crying!) Some babies can also make your day by flashing a million dollar smile at you and holding their heads. *Every baby develops at his own pace and differently. These milestones are just expectations and babies may reach them at different times.

Baby Milestones – Month 2 Time for gurgles and coos!! He can also follow objects and can hold his head up for short periods of time. He may also smile, and give you his toothless laugh to leave you wanting even more. His movements will become smoother. Some babies can also hold their heads steady, and do mini pushups. *Every baby develops at his own pace and differently. These milestones are just expectations and babies may reach them at different times.

Baby Milestones – Month 3 Laughing time!! You may never get enough of this though!! He knows who you are by your smell and face. Was that a squeak? Oh yes!! He may recognise your voice and may lift his head and shoulder Is that a tooth sprouting? Or did he just say mama? Some babies may just imitate speech sounds and bloom a tooth. *Every baby develops at his own pace and differently. These milestones are just expectations and babies may reach them at different times.

Baby Milestones – Month 4 The baby can bear his weight on his legs with your support, and responds to you with coos. Trust us, he’s grasping everything you say! He may also roll over, reaching out for toys. May even grasp one, making you elated. Strangers beware!! Some babies develop stranger anxiety. They may sit without support for a few moments. *Every baby develops at his own pace and differently. These milestones are just expectations and babies may reach them at different times.

Baby Milestones – Month 5 The baby loves to play with his hands and feet, he can also roll over. Have those soft pillows in place! Eyes your food? Maybe he’s ready for solids! He also knows his name now! Strangers beware!! Some babies develop stranger anxiety. They may sit without support for a few moments. *Every baby develops at his own pace and differently. These milestones are just expectations and babies may reach them at different times.

Baby Milestones – Month 6 Bubbles, blows and lots of rolling. The baby may imitate sounds and can easily turn and focus on new sounds. Everything goes in the mouth! Definitely ready for solids, if he can sit without support. Some babies may discover crawling! Jabber a lot and want everything to themselves. *Every baby develops at his own pace and differently. These milestones are just expectations and babies may reach them at different times.
