4 Is School Agreement Right for You? Are you looking for a simple and flexible licensing agreement? Are you looking for a complete solution to software compliancy? Are you interested in receiving product upgrades at no additional cost? Do you like the idea of one annual payment? Do you want support resources, tools, and training for no extra charge?

5 How Does it Work? Simply follow these 4 steps: 1.Locate an Authorized Education Reseller 2.Complete a Campus and School Agreement 3.Complete a Subscription Enrollment 4.Order your software

6 Step 1: Locate an AER Find an Authorized Education Reseller (AER) in your area at:

7 Step 2: Complete a Campus and School Agreement The Campus and School Agreement: States general terms and conditions for software use Contains no expiration date Can be obtained and submitted via your AER

8 Step 3: Complete a Subscription Enrollment Use the Subscription Enrollment to: Choose your licensed period (one or three years) Specify your eligible PC count Elect the Student Option Submit completed enrollment to your AER

9 Step 3: Complete a Subscription Enrollment One-year subscription One year of temporary licenses Renew annually by submitting an extension order Choosing the Licensed Period

10 Step 3: Complete a Subscription Enrollment Three-year subscription Three years of temporary licenses License at least same number of eligible PCs as Year 1 Pricing from Microsoft to Distributor set at Year 1* Submit anniversary orders for Year 2 and Year 3 –Include additional PCs as applicable –Can add products at then-current price *Actual end customer pricing is determined by the AER. 12 Step 4: Order Your Software Select from any available application, system, server, and CAL products Refer to the Microsoft Volume Licensing Product List for up-to-date offerings: School Agreement Desktop Packages - If you prefer to license your computers and users for a standard set of desktop products, Microsoft provides the following “Desktop” packages, which offer a discounted price over the cost of licensing the products individually. The School Desktop package includes: Windows Vista™ Enterprise Upgrade Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 and Microsoft Office for Mac 2004 Professional Edition Microsoft Core CAL Suite The School Desktop with Enterprise CAL includes: Windows Vista Enterprise Upgrade Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 and Microsoft Office for Mac 2004 Professional Edition Microsoft Enterprise CAL Suite As with all products licensed through your School Agreement, you have the option of deploying downgrade versions (previous versions) in place of the current licensed version. For instance, you may choose to deploy Microsoft Windows® XP Professional instead of Windows Vista Enterprise.
