I encourage you to look through it with your child and return it to school everyday. If at any time throughout the school year you want to meet with me. Please contact me via phone, note, or . We will set up a scheduled appointment for a time that works best for everyone.

Remind Messages Receive reminders and messages through text messages!

Communication Folder $2.00 red folder Please check it every night Please use this folder for notes, lunch money, and homework

Homework Students are given class time to finish most assignments. Math homework will come home most evenings finished or not. I also expect that students will read for 30 minutes nightly and practice their multiplication and division facts if they don’t have them mastered.

Late Work Policy Most homework is for a grade and due the following day unless otherwise specified. If an assignment is not completed and turned in when it is due, it is considered late and will affect the students grade. Students do have the opportunity to complete their work in the study room during recess. This will be the students responsibility.

Grade Book Letter grades SIS grade book will give you instant access to your child’s grades.

Absences/Attendance Attendance is crucial to the learning process. Students are given one day for every day missed to make-up and complete any assignments missed. If and when your child is absent, you can call the office to arrange the pick up of your child’s homework.

LUNCH MONEY Breakfast $1.10 Lunch $2.10 Snack milk $0.35 Be sure to put your money in an envelope with your child’s name on it!

Snacks All snacks must be healthy snacks. Water bottles are encouraged.

Birthday Celebrations No birthday parties at school (district policy) Treats must be store bought and packaged Inform me when bringing in treats so we can schedule it into our day
