My Expectations for You! Why? Because I believe in you! I know you are ALL smart. You can do anything you try. “I can’t” is the acronym for “I Completely Admit I’m Not Trying.”

This year…NO EXCUSES! It is science, but not rocket science! I believe you all have the capacity to perform your best every day and expect no less.

What are Procedures? Procedures are a plan for success. Procedures are put in place for our classroom so you will know what is expected of you on a daily basis. This will allow us to focus all of our attention on the wonderful world of science!

Procedures-Entering Classroom 1.Come in Quietly. 2.Get out homework, class work, and notes. 3.Be prepared to start when the bell rings 4.Read the board to find out what we will be doing. 5.Commence bell work.

Procedures Getting students attention- I raise a hand, everyone raises their hand, listen to instructions. Getting teachers attention- raise hand and wait to be called upon Trash Absent- Your responsibility to get what you need! Pencil breaks/sharpening Homework/class work Headings on HW or CW Collecting homework/ class work Walking the halls Tardy Land of No Name Labs Bathroom break

Visitor/Substitute Procedures When someone enters the classroom: immediately there should be silence. Continue on with your lesson. I am rarely out, however if I am, please treat the substitute as respectfully as you treat me. I expect the same good behavior at all times.
