Your grade: 20% Quizzes, Classwork, Homework 60% Tests and Projects 20% Final Exam (Midterm at the end of Semester 1 counts as a test grade)

8 Eubanks Classroom Rules
1.Do not talk while I am talking. 2.Do not leave your seat without permission. 3.Keep all technology put away, unless instructed otherwise. 4.Go to sleep, lose your seat. 5.Be respectful to your teacher, and each other. 6.Follow the Rule of 2.

9 Cell Phone/ Electronics Policy and Procedure
1st Violation-Verbal Warning. 2nd Violation-Cell phone jail for the period. 3rd Violation-Device taken to front office, parent has to come pick up. Any further offenses will be see as willful disobedience and will result in a discipline referral/pink slip.

10 Attendance ATTEND CLASS. ATTEND SCHOOL COME TO CLASS. COME TO SCHOOL
BE HERE EVERYDAY. BE AT SCHOOL EVERYDAY. SHOW UP. ………………

11 Expectation #1 Be in your assigned seat and working on the Daily H for the day after the tardy bell rings.

12 Expectation #2 Bring your notebook and other study material everyday!
BE PREPARED EVERYDAY! You are required to keep a notebook. Composition or spiral bound with all class notes and handouts. At least 1 notebook check will be conducted per quarter. A notebook list will be kept on the chalkboard.

17 What do I have? High Expectations Why do I have high expectations?
Because you can meet them and so that you can have opportunities in your life.

18 Entering the Room Please enter QUIETLY.
Have a seat in your assigned seat. Take out your materials Review the agenda/Daily H on the board. Technology should be up once the bell rings. Begin warm-up assignment.

19 What is “tardy”? When the bell rings, I will close the door.
If you are not in the room, you are tardy.

20 Getting Your Attention
I will . . . Stand in front of the class. Begin speaking.

21 The Rule of 2 If I tell you to do something a 2nd time during a class period (have a seat, be quiet, etc.). You will receive an academic detention.

22 Silence Procedures When silence is written on the board you will be quiet. You will only speak to Mr. Eubanks or another teacher by raising your hand. If you speak you will be removed from the classroom and issued an academic detention. 2nd time you am removed another academic detention. 3rd time pink slip. Silence means silence. Bring your headphones in case we have silence procedure.

23 Note taking procedure Sit still. Be quiet.
Take Notes. (How notes are taken will be discussed at a later date.)

25 Severe Clause Any student who uses profanity, fights, damages school property (this includes the property of the teacher and other students), or is disrespectful (as defined by the teacher) will be sent to the office IMMEDIATELY.

26 What do I do if I finish my classwork early? YOU WON’T!

27 After an Absence Most work can be done while absent by checking my online classroom. If not, check the OLC upon return to school. All handouts provided will be available in the front of the classroom in the designated area.

28 “Special” Procedures These will be introduced on an “as needed” basis.
