Lesson Plans Mr. Shiverdeck’s class

8:25 Morning work You will come into the room and look for today’s assignments (they should on the bookcase behind the desk, second shelf from the bottom on the right hand side.). There are science worksheets, please give the worksheets to the students for morning work. The morning work is due by recess. Collect the worksheets on the way to recess even if they are not finished. Weekly assignments: The students have new assignments on; acuity, study island, and pearson success. When they finish their work the will need to work on these online assignments.

8:50 Annoucements Monitors need to be off, and students need to listen to announcements. Students say pledge. Take roll and lunch count, send the lunch count to the cafeteria with Robbie. Line students up for specials A day= art B day= music C day = pe

9:35 pick up from specials Take students to bathroom. Give them five minutes to take care of bathroom needs. 6 students go to Mrs. Kotteman’s class. Students in class open books. Read the story from the week, Adelina’s Whales, together. When finished assign spelling.

10:20 Students may work on posters. 10:30 Jacob, Madi, and Dilan go to reading 10:45 student continue working on pearson, Acuity or AR 11:00 students get ready for lunch 1105 students go to lunch.

11:40 Missouri History Students work on definitions for Unit 4 in Missouri History. Students work on this independently. Students need to write the words in color and the definitions in pencil. Collect the definitions at 12:25 and save for me. When students turn in test have them work on acuity, pearson or an assignment on study island.

12:30 Your recess duty Check with Mrs. Halbert or Mrs. Fischer to see if we are going out for recess.

1:00 RTI Most of your students go to other classes. Let Emily get out the books and pass them to the other students. Read the book together as readers theater the students already have their parts. You read everything that is not in quotation marks.

1:30 Math Students finish Friday’s test, they are sitting on the desk. After they finish assign pretest on unit 9. Have students then work on the show their work and then enter the tests on line. When they finish they should work on work on assignments on; acuity, study island, or pearson success.

3:00 Get ready to go Students fill out their planners Take them to the bathroom. Students pack up when they come back into the room and quietly read. 3:25 go home
