Line leader, teacher helpers, potty patrol, line monitor, trash inspector, Recess coordinator. Everyone will have their turn at jobs. WE ARE A TEAM THAT WORKS TOGETHER…

Classroom Materials Make sure you bring the following materials to class everyday: Agenda Pencils and eraser Take home folder

Paper Heading Please put your name on all papers, below your name put the subject (math or science), below the subject put the date. See example on the board. 100% papers have proper headings! Put your line number on your paper in the top right hand corner and circle it.

Turning in papers to be graded Put your completed papers to be graded in the basket at the work station. Turn your paper into the basket labeled with your homeroom teachers name. Make sure you put the correct heading on all papers.

Agenda Each student is given an agenda book on the first day of school. If you lose the planner during the year you will have to pay to get another one. You will write all assignments in your agenda. Your parents should check your agenda every night, because your agenda is one of the ways I will communicate with them. Agendas will need signed every night with your conduct box colored in. You get PENGUIN Feet stamp if it is signed.

Agenda Every student has an agenda book that looks like this. It is to be signed every night. Look at the information written and the conduct color for the day

More Agenda Students receive a conduct color daily for following school rules, Check your child’s agenda for conduct and notes. Please sign every evening. The agenda is written in daily. Question your child if there are blank spots and find out why they did not fill it in. It is their responsibility to have it completed.

What do you do if you finish your work early? Work on your facts. Work on any unfinished or make-up work. Frequently there are directions on the board of things that need practiced. This is not a time to visit with friends. There will be centers to visit often. If all the math and reading is completed you then may read your library book.

If we have a guest If we have a guest or another teacher in our room please follow the procedure below: Keep working. Respect the guest by not interrupting. Remember this is not a time for you to talk to your friends. Thank you students!

Entering the room Enter the room quietly and sit down. Get ready for the day. READ what is listed on the smart board. Sit quietly at your desk READ your library book when you are waiting for the Pledge.

Exiting the room When you leave for the day please remember the following: Leave quietly Leave your work area clean and neat. Straighten your desk before you leave. Take all of your things with you.

How do I get your attention? If I raise my hand or say Give Me 5 you should: Stop what you are doing. Put your eyes on the teacher. Make sure you are not talking. Make sure your hands and feet are still. Make sure you are listening.

Hallway Expectations: Follow all staff directions the first time given. Walk quietly in a straight line. Respect all hallway displays. Report problems to your teacher. Keep feet, hands and objects to yourself. Stay in grade level or classroom level area. Walk on the right side of the hallway.

A message from Ms. Moore I am very glad to have you in my class and I know that each of you will have a great year. Remember all I expect of you is your best and in return I will give you my very best as your teacher.
