3. Community Circle  Quietly come to the floor and form a circle  Pass the flower around the circle and each person gets a turn to talk about topic chosen by Ms. potter  Go back to seat to do a TRIBES activity.

Guided Reading  Quietly get reading book and practice book.  Go over vocabulary of the story.  Predict & Preview story  Activate Prior Knowledge/BOL  Read Story: Popcorn, tape, teacher read, group read, etc.  Students track words with reader.  Students work on phonic skill in workbooks  Show mutual respect to classmates!
