Monday 29 th June – Friday 3 rd July 2015

Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of rural North Norfolk. Adjacent to the magnificent National Trust estate at Felbrigg, just 15 minutes from the beach and with Blakeney Point within easy reach.

It is a small, family-run business established in Since opening they have welcomed more than 50,000 children and 3,700 teachers, served 190,000 cooked breakfasts and crossed the marshes at Blakeney over 1200 times!

What should they bring?  Although they will not need any special clothing or equipment please remember that the children will be outdoors for most of each day and pack accordingly.  You have been provided with a recommended "Kit List". Please ensure that you only send the children with older clothing that you are happy for them to get muddy or wet.  They need a comfortable daypack, preferably with two thick straps.  Please also provide plenty of sun cream and a good hat, ideally with a brim, and a water bottle.  Please label everything!

What will they do?  A normal day begins with breakfast at 8.00am. Activities normally commence at about 9.00am, usually with a classroom briefing to explain the day's events, rules and safety issues.  At 9.30am the children begin the day's activity on-site or board one of the centres own coaches to travel to an off-site activity.  They will be busy enjoying themselves and learning (without realising it) all day and will be supervised AT ALL TIMES.

 A packed lunch is eaten at a suitable point during the day and there are plenty of opportunities to have a drink or a rest or reapply sun cream etc.  The day's activities will finish between 4.00 and 5.00pm and they will have their evening meal at 5.30pm.  There will then be some free time (again supervised) before an evening activity and bed by a suitable time - usually about 9.30pm.

Don’t Forget!  Packed lunch for the day we go  Maximum of £15.00 spending money in a named purse – to be given to Miss Leadley  Medicines to be labelled with name and dosage - to be given to Mrs Jarman  Children to be at school at 8.00am  We should return by 5.30pm. Any major changes will be sent by Parentmail 2
