6 Daytime groups 48 children 4 mixed groups 12 children in each group
Each group keeps the same staff leaders for the whole week The staff leader will look after medication and administer when necessary.

8 Bedtime arrangements Exclusive use of the Carole Nash and Sparkle House building. Common room on each floor Staff rooms on each floor in the blocks. All staff stay in the building whilst the children get to sleep All rooms checked and secured at night and security staff patrol through the night.

10 Itinerary Monday Stop on route and arrive at Aberdovey.
Arrive, eat lunch and settle into accommodation Bring a water bottle Snack but not lots of sweets Tour of grounds and fire evacuation practise meal Evening activity

12 Itinerary Breakfast at 7am Activities all day and evening from 9-5pm
Evening meal 5.15pm Evening activity 6.30 – 8pm Hot choc and biscuits Bed about 9pm Friday Morning review and activities Stop on route to eat packed lunch Arrive back at school around 5pm

14 Health and Safety Medication
Please provide plenty of medication to cover the whole week – especially travel sickness The child's name and the dosage should be clearly indicated on the container Medical forms – complete form 3 or 7 today No sprays or aerosols please – roll on deodorant Swimming If your child cannot swim please inform a member of staff as some of the activities are in the sea! They will be provided with buoyancy aids.

16 Items to pack Children will be given all the equipment they need boots, waterproofs, rucksack Pack with your child so they know where everything is! They will also need to pack to come home so it is important that they recognise their items! Quick drying clothes – not jeans, joggers etc lots of layers LABEL EVERYTHING do not send expensive clothes Pack a full set of clothes that can get wet including footwear (old trainers) at the top of the case. These shoes can be used again during the water day, but they need dry shoes too. Gloves (more than one pair), hat, scarf. Swimwear and towel, bags for wet clothes, No mobile phones ,electronics, money etc but they can bring cards, books, etc disposable camera but photos will be available via Dropbox Drying room

18 Departure details Children to arrive at school at 7.45am and report to the fire escape of the gym in the car park, and report to their staff leader – handover medication. A packed lunch is not needed – we get lunch when we arrive. Bring a water bottle. Children should wear clothes suitable for the weather conditions of the day with a full set of clothes at the top of their case which could get wet! We will leave school at 8am Please feel free to stay and wave your child off.

20 Return details We aim to return to school at 5pm on Friday 23rd November We should have received your slip telling us who will be collecting your child. Wait on the astro turf until your child appears at the door and when you collect your child, please go to their staff leader who will check them off and hand over any information from the week. Please remember to collect all their belongings
