NAVIANCE username: address password: student created All students have accounts. Must use this for application process. College planning, career planning, college majors, career interest inventories, college matches, recommendations, transcripts

C OLLEGE ! You should apply to about 6 colleges There are 3 parts to the application process 1. The Application Common Application College Application 2. The transcript, recommendations, any other school forms completed through Naviance 3.SAT/ACT scores sent from testing agency

Application Common Application (not all colleges accept this) Generic application Completed electronically College/University own application Obtained through their website Can only be submitted to that school

Types of Admissions: Early Decision : This is a binding agreement. You must attend that University and withdraw your applications to other schools. Early Action : Allows you to apply early, but it is not binding. You can then compare the colleges that accept you and their financial aid offers. Rolling Admissions: Admission is granted on a first come first serve basis; though there may not be a deadline once the “seats” are filled, these schools will not accept more students. So get your application in as soon as possible. Deadline: This is a specific date on these applications. You are responsible for knowing when your applications are due.

Transcript Request 1 st submit application 2 nd update Naviance with colleges and request transcript 3 rd complete orange transcript request form in the Counseling Center. $5.00 processing fee. **Note: nothing will be send until form is completed
