College Applications Know the DEADLINES Priority deadlines & Regular Deadlines Rolling Admissions (anytime within a large window—usually May 1 st ) Send Transcripts Done through the Mater Lakes website under the students tab. Students  Transcript Request  Fill out with School Names Call schools to double-check they received them

3. College Applications cont. SAT & ACT scores Students with Free or Reduced lunch receive 2 free waivers for each test Also receive free College Application Waivers Sending SAT scores Four free score reports every time you register for the SAT Must be used at the time of registration or up to nine days after the test Students with a waiver receive four additional score reports for each test (collegeboard.com)

Sending ACT scores Get up to four free ACT score reports (for each test) Must do at the time of the test or up to the Thursday after the test After that Thursday, a fee applies Essays & Recommendation Letters Application will state if an essay or recommendation letters are required

6. Bright Futures Scholarship Program Florida Academic Scholars  $103 per credit 3.5 weighted G.P.A. (16 core credits-4 Math, 4 English, 3 Science, 3 Social Science, 2 Foreign Language) 100 hours of community service 1290 SAT or 29 ACT (both excluding writing) Florida Medallion Scholarship  $77 per credit 3.0 weighted G.P.A. (16 core credits) 75 hours of community service 1170 SAT or 26 ACT (both excluding writing) Have until August 31 st to submit scores www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org
