2 Now in order to use the verbs in sentences, you must learn to conjugate them. There are 3 types of regular verbs in Spanish: –AR, –ER and –IR We will first review your subject pronouns and the irregular verbs ser and tener that you have already learned, then learn the endings you must use in order to make complete sentences using –ar verbs.

3 Los Pronombres Personales (Subject Pronouns) Singular I—yo Informal You— tú He—él She—ella Formal You—Ud. Plural We—nosotros You all— vosotros* They—ellos/ellas You all—Uds. *Remember: The vosotros form is rarely used. We will use Uds. instead and leave it out of the chart from here on.
