What is an infinitive? What is a conjugated verb? A verb that has yet to be conjugated In English, this is when “to” is in front of the verb To run, to dance, to eat, to buy In Spanish, the verb will end in “ar”, “er”, or “ir” Correr, bailar, comer, comprar Verbs that have been changed to match the subject In English, we may change the end of the word, or the entire thing Ej: I run, he runs In Spanish, we change the ends of the word to match the subject

Talking about yourself only I = yo 2nd person Talking to someone Tú or usted = you (formal & familiar) 3rd person Talking about someone He or she = él or ella 1st person Talking about yourself and other people We = nosotros/nosotras 2nd person Talking to many people Ustedes = you all 3rd person Talking about more than one person They = ellos/ellas
