Homework Children work hard in school and are challenged appropriately. Homework should not be tricky, its recapping work they have already done or making them recall number facts speedily. Children’s mental well being is of the utmost importance. Spend time as a family watching a movie, reading a book, go for a bike ride, play with friends. Homework can wait! No evidence to suggest that homework in Primary school has any benefit to children.
