Literacy
P2 will focus this term on imaginative writing and we will be working on our punctuation skills.
P1 will focus on correct letter formation and good pencil control.
We will be participating in the First Minister’s Reading Challenge in class to encourage reading for enjoyment.
We will continue with weekly phonics and reading homework to help us to spell.
Health and Wellbeing.
We will be learning about road safety and taking care in our environment. All children will continue to work on friendships and appreciate each other. During P.E. we will be learning a variety of dances and games.
Numeracy and maths
This term P1 will continue to work on counting and begin addition. P2 will continue with addition and subtraction and counting with odd and even numbers. We will also be working with money.
PE Days
Mondays and Wednesdays
Remember to bring your gym kit and if possible leave jewellery at home.
Science
This term our topic is Electricity. We will be looking at safety when using electrical equipment and learning about different ways that electricity can be produced.
