First Day Bell Schedule Period Time 1 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM 3 9:35 AM – 10:35 AM 5 10:40 AM – 12:55 PM 7 1:00 PM – 2:10 PM 2 2:15 PM – 2:30 PM (Collect Schedules)

Introductions. Distributions of student schedule and completion of registration material (first period only). Procedures / Expectations.

Distribution of Copies of: Principal’s welcome letter. Accident Insurance letter. Accident Insurance. Title I Parent Notification letter. Daily schedule and important dates. Parent signature page. Student emergency data form. Code of excellence, parent contract, uniform policy and cell phone policy packet. Lunch application packet. Lunch Pin number letter. Media release form. Open House Flyer. Calendars. PLA flyer/application. Student agendas. Homeless Transition program.

Supplies 2 Notebooks. 1 binder or folder. 1 packet of graph papers. 1 Scientific or Graph calculator. 1 small ruler. 1 Packet of Index Cards. 8 Expo Ultra Fine Tip Dry Erase Markets (any color).

Course Objectives The purpose of this class is to help students with strengthening of their math skill. Through class discussions, participation, provide opportunities for all students to learn key mathematics content, and assignments, students will gain and understanding of the value of number system & quantities, statistics & probability, polynomial, radical, rational, exponential, & logarithmic functions and trigonometry.

Class Expectation 1. Students are expected to attend class on time. Students will not be allowed into class after the bell unless they have a pass from their previous teacher or from an administrator. If the students will not have a pass, a detention will give to them. 2. Students are expected to respect the ideas and work of others in the class, as well as the teacher. Students are expected to participate appropriately and to consider the opinions of others. 3. Students are expected to come in school uniform to class prepared and ready to work every day. 4. Students should behave appropriately in the classroom. For example, students wishing to speak should raise their hands. Students should not wander around the classroom without permission.

Policies Be ready to start class when the bell rings. Work quietly and do not disturb others. Raise your hand to be recognized before speaking. No eating or drinking allowed in class. Remain in your seats unless given permission to get up. Electronic Devices are only allowed for instructional use
