Wise words from the Upper Sixth (taken from Student Survey 2015) Be patient. It’ll feel tough at first but you get used to the jump between GCSE and A-level. Always ask if you don’t understand anything. Don’t seek approval from your teachers. You’ve got to be your own champion. Stay positive. It will be hard to adjust at first but don’t let that put you off. Be honest with the way you’re coping with work. Admit early if you need help with anything.
All things are difficult before they become easy
