What’s the Deal? Ours is first City Deal in Scotland A step change for the Regional Economy £1.13 billion Infrastructure Fund, supported by funding for labour market programmes Objective is to grow the Regional economy – £2.2 bn. additional GVA p.a. to the City Region – 15,000 construction jobs – 29,000 permanent jobs and improved access to employment opportunities

A Good Deal for Renfrewshire £274 million being spent in Renfrewshire Focus on Glasgow Airport – as driver of regional economic growth. Significant local business and investment opportunities during construction and beyond Potential for > 1600 new permanent jobs in Renfrewshire Enhanced Access for Renfrewshire residents to jobs across the City Region

Direct link between Glasgow Airport and Glasgow Central Station (via Paisley Gilmour Street) GLASGOW AIRPORT ACCESS - PROJECT AIMS To provide a direct link between Glasgow Airport and Glasgow Central Station (via Paisley Gilmour Street), which will improve connectivity, encourage modal shift for Airport employees and passengers, and reduce reliance on road based trips to the Airport. PROGRAMME (INDICATIVE)  Define Project Scope - December 2015  Appoint consultant for Design Development - Spring 2016  Commence Detailed Design and Statutory Processes - Autumn 2017  Construction Commencement - Spring 2022  Construction completion - Autumn 2024  Scheme Operation

New access road to Westway Business park/development sites, with potential active travel links to public network beyond. Development Opportunity accessed via new infrastructure. New Access road to new Vehicular Bridge over White Cart River.
