10 The Stockholm Experience  York Aviation have been working with Stockholm STRAIR Partnership since November 2005  Seeking to build on this Framework to develop an action plan to encourage business development in the Airport hinterland  Phase 1: Knowledge Building and Analysis has just been completed York Aviation

11 The Stockholm Experience  Stockholm Arlanda handled around 17.1 million passengers and 145,000 tonnes of freight in 2005  It serves around 80 international destinations, including 6 intercontinental  One of three European hubs for SAS, but not the intercontinental hub  The Stockholm region is a successful international region, recognised as a world leader in innovation and a centre for knowledge based industries  One of the most successful regions in Europe in terms of the attraction of inward investment York Aviation Some Background What is the problem?
