Measuring Spoons: Measures small amounts of liquid AND dry ingredients Rubber Spatula: Used to scrape bowls and fold in delicate ingredients *also called a rubber scraper Tongs: Used to pick up objects out of boiling water, or turn meat on a grill

Peeler: Removes a thin layer of peel from fruits & veggies Straight Edge Spatula: Used to ice cakes and level dry ingredients Slotted Spoon: Removes small amounts of food from liquid- EX. peas

Liquid Measuring Cup: Measures liquid ingredients Whisk: Incorporates air into foods! Used for stirring, beating, and whipping foods Sifter: Breaks up lumps in flour, mixes dry ingredients together
