Lockers You have certain times to go to your locker You have to ask your teacher if you can go to your locker unless it is the scheduled time and must have a hallway/locker pass. Do not leave your locker unlocked If you leave your lock unlocked someone might flip it upside-down. That means that the dial of the lock isn’t facing you.

Lockers If you leave your locker open and someone steals something, DON’T COMPLAIN TO YOUR TEACHER. You are responsible for your lock being locked

I.D.’s I.D.’s are very important to Forest Trail You need your I.D.for everything. To ride the bus to and from school To eat lunch. To go through the halls so that teachers knows that you are a Forest Trail student.

What are the first 2 rules of School District 163? 1.Follow directions first time given. 2.Keep hands, feet, objects and unkind words to yourself.

DISCIPLINE Avoid aggressive behavior of any kind. No play-fighting. Fighting is not tolerated for any reason. Social Workers &/or A.P. can mediate any problems you are having with another student. Talk to them! If someone hits you – walk away and tell an adult. You cannot fight at Forest Trail. Defend your education, not your ego!!

Bullying Bullying of any kind is not tolerated at Forest Trail. We expect our students to: –Treat others with respect –Try to include those who are left out –Refuse to watch, laugh or join in when someone is being bullied. –Tell an adult –Help those who are being bullied

Cyberbullying At Forest Trail we expect our students to: Use technology responsibly and not as a weapon to hurt others Think before you click – is your message positive? Think about the person on the other side Use the manners your family taught you - even with technology Avoid online social aggression. Remember the LAW!

Consequences for Fighting, Aggressive Behavior or Bullying Up to 10 days out-of-school and possible expulsion. Followed by up to 20 days in the Intervention Room. Intervention Room is where you will have all your classes with one teacher and you cannot participate in any activities or privileges before or after school until your days are compete. Fighting is never worth spending time in the Intervention Room.

FINALLY! We are happy you have chosen Forest Trail for your school. We know you will be successful here. We will help you get accustomed to your new environment. Come to us if you have a problem. After watching this presentation, tell me who you would go to for help at Forest Trail..
