1.ABSTRACT: In today's world enemy warfare is an important factor in any nation's security. The national security mainly depends on army (ground), navy (sea), air-force (air). The important and vital role is played by army soldiers. There are many concerns regarding the safety of these soldiers. As soon as any soldier enters the enemy lines it is very vital for the army base station to know the location as well as the health status of all soldiers. In our project we have come up with an idea of tracking the soldier as well as to give the health status of the soldier during the war, which enables the army personnel to plan the war strategies. By using XBee module and GPS tracking system provide wireless system for monitoring the location and the health parameters of soldier are as Respiration & IR Tx & Rx is used for, the base station can understand the position of soldier.

2.OBJECTIVES: In this system, our main focus is to improve the communication of soldier with control room people and control plane operations. The above problem is solved as follow: 1. By using GPS, we able to give proper location about location in critical condition. 2. We are going help the soldier in panic condition as, control room people we are able to communicate with them by means of IR Module. Thus we are able to help them in panic Condition. 3. We able to track them using GPS.

4. METHODOLOGY: A general block diagram of the proposed scheme is given in Figure.The whole system is divided into two parts-transmitter and receiver. In the transmitter part the respiration sensor to monitor the soldier health & IR & GPS is for location Detector. Respiration sensor sense the variations then it these signal fed to the ARM, in the ARM it compares with predefined values, if any variation in respiration and co-ordinates which is received from GPS it will send the to another receiving station through XBee which is in concern staff or Head office.

At the same time ARM will generate the out put that is fed to buffer IC 4050, buffer stores and given to the driver IC 2003 in driver current will amplifies and voltage will inverts with the help of Darlington pair circuit of driver IC to drive the relay. Then signal is given to the output load for indication purpose. When ARM receives the data from the XBee, it will enable the alert through the Buzzer in receiver side..

5. ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES:  ADVANTAGES: 1.We able to give proper location about location in critical condition. 2.We able to track them using GPS. 3.We are going help the soldier in panic condition as,control room people we are able to communicate with them by means of RF Module. Thus we are able to help them in panic Condition.

 DISADVANTAGES: 1.It increases the cost whereas digital systems reduce the cost of system. 2.Network failure & environment conditions will cause failure in system.

6.APPLICATIONS: 1.Vehicle tracking system. 2.Fuel tracking system. 3.Digital Heart Rate monitor. 4.Patient Monitoring System. 5.Bio-Feedback control of robotics and applications. 6.Alert SMS.

7.CONCLUSION: The “SOLDIER TRACKING AND HEALTH MONITORING SYSTEM” is an effective security and safety system which is made by integrating the advancements in wireless and embedded technology. It helps for a successful secret mission. This system can be used in critical conditions. The most significance in this is implementation of M-Health. By implementing this system we can improve the security of our country this also help to improve the safety of the soldier.
