Classroom Expectations Welcome to third grade Mrs. Gomes & Mrs. Scarvie

Morning Routines & Procedures Walk into the room quietly Check in for hot or cold lunch Neatly hang your backpack and coat up Turn in your homework Make sure you have two pencils sharpened Place your lunch in the lunch basket Get a drink of water if needed Ask to use the restroom if needed Start your morning work (ADD)

Bathroom Procedures One student at a time If the teacher is busy use the bathroom signal Get the bathroom pass Sign out on “bathroom sheet” Quietly open and close the door Be prompt so that you don’t miss anything Please use recess time wisely-will usually not allow students to go right after a recess break

Lining up/walking in a line procedures This is a transition time: put your materials away Quietly sit in the learning position and wait for your row to be called Push your chair in Walk carefully to get in line Face forward: the direction you are going Leave appropriate space in front and behind you As you are walking – watch for gaps Line leader waits for his/her line

End of the day procedures Put all of your learning materials away Make sure you have your homework Carefully place you chair on top of your desk Make sure your desk and floor are clean Check out the job chart – do your job Get your lunch box, coat and backpack Quietly stand by your desk to show that you are ready to go home
