How does someone demonstrate being POSITIVE? Figuring out what they can do to improve their test score when they get a bad grade Saying positive things to classmates Making good decisions when something doesn’t go his or her way

How can someone be RESPECTFUL? Helping a classmate pick up dropped items Saying “Yes Ma’am, No Ma’am, Yes Sir” and “No Sir” Saying “Excuse Me?” instead of “HUH?” Taking care of materials Holding the door open for someone

How can someone be INDEPENDENT? Trying to figure out math problems even when they’re difficult Being responsible about bringing field trip money to school Practicing the recorder at home for music class

How can someone be DEDICATED? Always getting homework complete Reaching AR goals Running to first base in PE even if you think you may be thrown out Practicing multiplication facts
